The Bab ~ The Gate

Saints awaited Him

Poets contemplated Him

Altars wore thin for Him

O Promised One ~

Gift from God, returned,

Promise fulfilled, as before ~
May 23^rd 1844 

Did you see Him?

Did you hear Him?

Did you feel Him,

Do you know Him?

O Promised One returned to men,

for you,

for me,
for them ~
