Who is this man? IV
Who is this man who builds tin houses for his peasants,
then blames 'them' ~ when they rust,
he who eats through the center of loaves,
leaving them ~ to eat the remains from his crust?
Is he the same man who crosses his heart with holy water,
who prays to his Lord then shuns his own father ~
and his mother?
Is he the same man who steals his neighbor’s lover,
then weeps and moans,
runs to and fro, when she sleeps with his brother?
Who is this man?
