Moulding Mountains (for everyone who has a mother)

Moulding Mountains (for everyone who has a mother)

One never knows when he will be needed to task,
or be asked to mold mountains
Heaps of rocks may bar the way
Be patient – pray
Ask for help when unfolding clay
Hardened cracks are road maps
Earth was not seeded in a day
Eons of stars fell, to birth ~ ~ ~ come what may
Do not insist to be on left, or right side of road – stay in the center
Persist – pray
Rise in the sun
Sleep in the moon
You will be there soon
Bent on your own way will not let you in
Being set in stone will stunt your growth
Do not resist the life you chose
Forgive those who wronged you as you would your own broken skin
or your brothers
Mothers don’t lie when they say I love you
A small token I know, now that she’s gone
You can see her when you unfold mountains of piled up dirt holding you to your past,
where you grasp on
Unfold
Remold
At last you will know for sure
your Mother
and her words,
grow,
I love you,
now go

Mom
